Every time our families got together, the two of us would just talk, and talk, and talk. Two moms in our 40s raising young kids, always venting about something. So Darlene sent the text, Monica said yes, and the playground opened. We had no idea what we were doing. We still learn something every week.
We're very Americanized, but our Latin roots run deep. We're not quite one thing or the other, and we know a lot of you live in that same in-between. This is for the mom washing the dishes who feels unseen. We see you.
Boricua, island girl, former actress, mom of one. Darlene keeps the show on track (beginning, middle and end), runs the games, and edits episodes after bedtime. She's the planner, the dramatic one, and the first to cry at a school event.
